Make your own Kaleidoscope

Classic, fun, craft activity to boost creativity

A kaleidoscope is a tube with loose, small and colourful objects inside. These objects can be beads or something similar. The inside is made using three long mirrors. A person looks into the kaleidoscope through one end and sees patterns created by reflections of the objects inside. Sir David Brewster began work that led to the invention of the kaleidoscope in 1815.

Kaleidoscope is a classic fun craft activity to boost creativity. The possibilities with this little piece of art is endless. The kit includes everything you need, so kids won't ask you to buy anything else from the shops.
